HRRARC attending Moorgreen Show 2009 with Special Event Station 'GB5MCS' - update
As reported previously Hucknall Rolls-Royce Amateur Radio Club is currently readying itself right now, for this year’s Moorgreen Country Show. As mentioned the Club will be putting on a ‘Special Event Station’ with the unique call sign of “GB5MCS” or Golf, Bravo, Five, Moorgreen Country Show. We are hoping to be QRV on all bands; HF, VHF and UHF, so if you hear us ‘on air’ please give us a call.

Club members will be helping us man the 'official HRRARC stand’ and will operate the Special Event station. Flyers pertaining to the club and its range of activities will also be handed out and commemorative QSL cards will be sent to all stations who make contact with us.
Members of the public visiting the special event station will be given an opportunity to pass-on ‘a special greetings message’ (live over the radio) to another station whilst a contact is being made. Those who make a special greetings message will also receive a Certificate for doing so.
