RSGB SSB HF Field Day
This is the weekend for the RSGB HF (SSB) National Field Day, however the weekend will now be a club camping and social weekend - read below.
Yes, we’ll be off camping again in Derbyshire. The dates are Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2009.
It has been decided that we are not taking part as a club contest group this year.
It has been decided to make this a club social event rather than a club contest event. You are welcome to bring along your own equipment to operate but the club equipment is not being set up.
This is still very much a club event, past field days held have often involved visits from friends and former club members to the FD site during its three days duration. This is something that we still encourage, as we always look forward to seeing old friends, fellow Hams and past associates of the club. Please note: Camping and caravanning on site is permitted by existing club members and their immediate families only.
