Members Social Weekend at Crich has been postponed unfortunately
Dear Member,
It is with regret that the proposed camping and social weekend (15th,16th and 17th) has had to be temporarily postponed. I say temporarily, as we do hope in the near future (two/three week’s time?) to organise yet another weekend at the same location hopefully (subject to availability of course!)
I for one, like many, were looking forward to getting away this weekend, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t with us for this one, and it certainly doesn’t look favourable over the next couple of days (sods law!)
We even eventually managed to contact Terry Scholey (the weatherman) and he didn’t paint to good a picture either. As you know this location is lovely when we get some good weather thrown-in, however like anywhere, it’s pretty miserable up- there if it’s raining, windy and cold.
Apologies to everyone concerned and we look forward to seeing you all, up at the club as normal tomorrow evening (Friday 15th).
